Astronomy
is the scientific study of celestial objects, while astrology deals with the traditional beliefs about how the positioning of the stars and planets affect our personalities and human affairs. Astronomy is divided into several “sub-fields” including radio astronomy, infrared astronomy, optical astronomy, ultraviolet astronomy, x-ray and gamma ray astronomy. The study of astrology also uses several different applications, such as psychic readings, Tarot cards, palm readings and astrological charts based on how the planets were aligned at the time of an individuals birth.
